A story of the Sanitation workers of India
Amplification of sanitation worker stories is fundamental to understand the needs, challenges and progress for the community and to ensure the enabling and scaling of sanitation as a dignified livelihood. Their own expression of their realities and lived experiences is essential in gaining a comprehensive understanding of what their job truly entails, as opposed to how it is perceived by society. The goal of this film is to communicate the stories of sanitation workers, their journeys, challenges, achievements, and their future aspirations through their eyes and narrated through their voices.
